SPACE FORCE SPELLING

A free spelling game for kids that feels like a real game

Space Force Spelling is a browser game where your child spells words to keep the family ship flying, fights bosses with correct answers, and explores planets in a 3D open world. No download, no sign-up to start, no ads.

Runs in the browser on phone, tablet, Chromebook or PC. Progress saves on your device; a free account is optional for syncing between devices.

What your child actually does

Spell to survive

In Story Mode the ship's supplies are tied to subjects: spelling refills water, math refills food, science refills oxygen. Spell the word right and the crew keeps flying.

Hear every word

The game speaks each word aloud, in a sentence, and there is a 🔊 button to hear it again. Kids who are not reading fluently yet can still play.

Explore, then practice

World Mode is a 3D open world: fly the family ship between planets, walk around the Earth home base, and play arcade mini-games like Cosmic Putt-Putt and Star Miner between lessons.

Difficulty that follows the child

Words start at your child's grade and step up as they get answers right. A kid who races ahead keeps getting harder words; a kid who struggles gets more practice.

What is inside

Questions parents ask

Is Space Force Spelling really free?

Yes. The story, the 3D world, and the arcade are free. There is no ad network in the game. Grown-ups can optionally buy Family Edition ($19.99 once) to put their own family in the game; the free game is never pay-to-win.

Do kids need an account?

No. Kids can start playing as a guest right away and progress saves on that device. A free account is optional and is only for keeping progress across devices and for unlimited play time.

What ages or grades is it for?

The curriculum runs from kindergarten through 6th grade, and the word and question banks stretch into middle-school level for kids who race ahead. There is also a free Baby Mode for preschoolers.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets, Chromebooks and computers, and it can be installed to the home screen so it opens full-screen like an app.

Family Edition: $19.99 once · not a subscription · grown-ups only

Family Edition puts your own crew in the cockpit: a photo or a typed description becomes your family's faces on the cadets' helmets and a story cutscene still. Parents can also paste this week's school spelling list so the game practices exactly those words, set family missions, and print a one-page cadet report.

The free game never becomes pay-to-win. Teachers: a Classroom edition with rosters and join codes is $79 per 12 months, inside the game.
